This new ASTM publication contains steel data on over 4,600 steels compiled from 465 international standards. It includes the latest specification data covering carbon steels, alloy steels, tool steels, stainless steels, and cast irons, with designations and titles, chemical compositions, mechanical properties, and physical properties.
Data is well organized in each chapter by:
– North American specification, grade and UNS number, followed by
– European EN specification, steel names and steel number Steel applications include structural steels, boiler and pressure vessels steels, ASME P-No. steels, free-cutting steels, bearing steels, spring steels, steels for ships, and steels for other special applications. Stainless steels data covers martensitic, ferritic, austenitic, precipitation-hardening, and duplex stainless steels.
