Descrição
Linking characteristic features of disordered semiconductors atomic and electronic structures to the device design process, this study covers the general structure of energy bands, defects, and their electrical, optical, and photovoltaic properties. Discussing methods of property control and thin film preparation methods, how weak sensitivity to impurities is a distinguishing feature of disordered semiconductors, and considering applications of disordered semiconductors in various devices, this contemporary perspective offers a broad yet attentive discourse on one of the pillars of modern solid-state physics.
